All aspects of the installation were very professional and there was minimal disruption to the guests at the resort.

What made me decide to use ECBH is that Hans (the owner) didn’t just ask me what I wanted…..he made some amazing suggestions. Hans vision for what would work on my block was superb and the effort his team went to to carry 240kg posts up a massive slop was just extraordinary. If I didn’t use ECBH I’m afraid I would have ended up with just your average everyday hut rather than something out of this world! A million thanks to Hans, Sharna and the team!

My new Bali hut is completed and it’s wonderful. Hans and Sharna were so helpful and completed every detail without a problem. I had my timber frame painted white and it looks fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. I love the look and it all went smoothly.

After replacing the thatched roofing of our pool housing shelter 3 times over the past 18 years, we finally made the decision to upgrade the roof with Cambridge shingles. We’re so pleased with the result and carrying a 30 year warranty we won’t be replacing this roofing system any time soon. The Cambridge shingle system came as a recommendation from Hans and Sharna of East Coast Bali Huts. From initial telephone discussions, to getting a quote and deciding on a suitable colour that blended into surrounding landscaping, to the installation completion – the professionalism not only of Hans and Sharna but also the installers was second to none. The installers were also respectful of our existing pool landscaping being careful not to damage plants.
Telephone and email communication from Sharna was progressive and informative from start to finish. And always good to have a visit from the ‘boss’ on the day of installation, just to make sure we were all on the same page. For these reasons, I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the team from East Coast Bali Huts.

A big shout out and many thanks to the fantastic team, Sharna and Hans, at East Coast Bali Huts. We now have a great tropical paradise to relax in after work and on weekends. We haven’t been out of since it went up! Cat and dog love it too. Cool and waterproof, even though the recent downpours. Nothing like being surrounded by the sound of cascading waterfalls. Sharna and Hans have been great and full of tips and ideas, as we were the DIY construction team of “Dad and Dave” Alan actually. Easy to follow instructions and precisely manufactured frame meant we had it up with half the thatch on, over a 3 day weekend. Finished the thatching flying solo the following weekend. We highly recommend these guys for service, quality and above all honesty.

We had our Bali hut thatching replaced with Cambridge shingles as the thatching needed some tlc to freshen it up but we decided to replace the thatching with shingles for a whole new look. We could not be happier with our new roof as it looks absolutely fantastic. East Coast Bali Huts workmanship and attention to detail was of a very high standard.
Sharna and Hans are lovely people to deal with and were always on hand to answer our questions and we received the very best of service. We would have absolutely no hesitation in referring East Coast Bali Huts to our friends and relatives. Thankyou very much Hans, Sharna and all the team.

Very happy with the roof replacement of our 2 Bali thatch huts. Many thanks to Hans and Sharna were great to deal with, very professional and patient and after 4 site visits to discuss options and revise quotes accordingly. We finally decided to go with cladding existing deteriorated Bali thatch roof which had deteriorated with Cambridge asphalt shingles. The end result is just fantastic, very pleased with the tidy look and extra insulation has resulted in a cooler space under the hut. Thanks again Hans and Sharna, would highly recommend dealing with this company.

It was a spur of the moment decision, we were in the pool looking at a horrible ugly garden and I said a Bali hut would look good there. Well Hans came straight out to inspect the site and 9 days later it was complete. WOW it was so fast.
You guys were so caring and professional and gave us many more design ideas than we could have thought of ourselves.

Thank you to East Coast Bali Huts for the amazing job they did in transforming our back yard. Not only was the service and the quality of the build exceptional the advice that was given to us by East Coast Bali to help with the build and the design and working with design of our house was invaluable. What we had envisioned would not have worked and without their direction could have resulted in something we would not have used as much as we do. What was once an used area of our backyard sees a lot of our time spent in our ‘outdoor’ room. I would recommend this company to anyone we know
